Research overview
My research focuses on using approximate ancestral models and nearest-neighbor methods to improve the power of genome-wide association studies and scans for recent natural selection in humans. While I have a range of interests from non-parametric statistics to coalescent theory, I enjoy focusing on biological applications: building Bayesian models for modeling recombination in humans.
