Nick Harding

Informatics Team

Nick joined the group as a principal bioinformatician in June 2014. He works on the population genetic analyses of MalariaGEN's large-scale Plasmodium and Anopheles datasets, including supporting the Anopheles gambiae 1000 Genomes project (Ag1000G) project.

Nick completed his PhD at the University of Manchester in statistical epidemiology before carrying out his post-doctoral training on genomic heterogeneity within prostate cancer with Dr Paul Boutros at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research in Toronto, Canada. He also holds degrees in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford and Genetic Epidemiology from the University of Sheffield.
