Muyang Lin

Research Overview
Muyang is a DPhil student in the Leedham Lab at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics. Muyang's current work focuses on understanding how epithelial mutations remodel the interactions between epithelial and stromal compartments in the colorectal cancer microenvironment. Meanwhile, Muyang is involved in another project investigating the signalling crosstalks underlying stem cell plasticity in colorectal cancer.
Prior to her DPhil study, Muyang completed her undergraduate studies at Zhejiang University-University of Edinburgh Institute, where her undergraduate thesis focuses on the role of the centrosome in cell cycle regulation and tumorigenesis. Muyang obtained an MSc degree at the University of Oxford and won the Highest Achievement Prize for attaining the top final mark and consistently high marks throughout the MSc.
