Holly Trochet

DPhil student

Research overview

Holly is a DPhil student interested in the genetic architecture of complex diseases, with an emphasis on autoimmune diseases. She is currently investigating a statistical method to find genetic variants common to two or more diseases using summary statistics from genome-wide association studies (GWAS). Using this and other methods, she hopes to contribute to the understanding of the genetic causes of autommune diseases as a class as well as the genetic causes unique to any one disease in particular.
