Florent Yvon
Application and Database Developer
My role is to develop applications and databases for the DIL group to manage their samples and datasets; to provide user support for those applications; and to ensure the quality control and analysis of biological datasets.
Before joining the DIL in May 2019, I carried out various bioinformatics tasks including developing software solutions for analysing mass-spectrometry data at the bioinformatics platform of the Curie Institute in Paris, developing tools related to pharmacometrics and systems biology at the European Bioinformatics Institute in Cambridge and analysing genomics data of cancer patients at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center using high performance computing. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Master's degree in Bioinformatics.
