I have a senior role in the UK Biobank genotyping project. The UK Biobank is a prospective study of 500,000 deeply phenotyped individuals aged 40-69 from the UK. We collected, analysed and extended the genetic data of the entire cohort to provide an unprecedented resource to researchers. The full data set was released in 2017.
Previously, I worked on the WTCCC2 project and prior to that on the HapMap project. I wrote the GTOOL package which is part of the GWAS suite of software.
I am also a member of the Research Computing team with a focus on multi-user Deep Learning/GPU systems and on the software lifecycle.
