Illumina Methylation EPIC Array Offer

If you are thinking of performing an epigenetic study and in particular whole genome methylation analysis, for 5-methylcytosine but also for 5-hydroxymethylcytosine, on Fresh Frozen or FFPE samples, we have a great opportunity that you might be interested.

We have recently given the opportunity to join a consortium based in Germany to gain access to a very substantial 60% discount on the list price of the Illumina Infinium Methylation EPIC array. This will bring the reagent cost to only €125/sample or ~£115 depending on exchange rate with the Euro. This offer is available for the whole 2019 and hopefully beyond.

If you are based outside of Oxford university and your institution is VAT exempt, for large project you would be able to purchase the reagents directly from the consortium lead in Germany and have the reagents delivered to OGC so you would only be charged for VAT on the service cost.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this great opportunity then please contact Christine Blancher, array service manager for OGC: christin@well.ox.ac.uk, for more information and/or for the cost of your project. Please provide your contact details and a rough number of total samples.

New Lower Genotyping cost on Illumina Global Screening Array

It is also a good time to perform Genotyping studies. The heavily discounted consortium price we have been able to offer for the past 2 years the Illumina Infinium Global Screening Array (GSA MD) to our customers has gone even cheaper.

The reagent cost is now €19/sample or ~ £18 depending on exchange rate with the Euro.

The GSA MD v2.0 was launched in 2018 as an updated version of the GSA MD v1.0, with added pharmacogenetics and clinical content. The next version GSA MD v3.0 will be available around May 2019. Because of this update, the GSA MD v1.0 is only available until August 2019.

Please contact Christine Blancher, array service manager for OGC: christin@well.ox.ac.uk, for more information and/or for the cost of your project.
