Kanishka Bhattacharya

I am a Research Associate and D.Phil. student based at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, University of Oxford, UK. I am also a graduate member of Wolfson College. My research involves exploring and designing new statistical methods to understand gene-gene and gene-environment interactions. I am interested in exploring Machine Learning methods to better understand human biological pathways. At the moment, I am involved in some simulation studies to understand distribution of power in the process of tracking epistatic effects at a genome-wide level.
