The Wellcome Trust is the world's largest medical research charity. It spends over £600 million each year funding research to improve human and animal health. The Trust contributed substantially to the cost of building the Centre and continues its partnership with the University in funding core services provided by the Centre as well as several research projects carried out by our staff.
