Volocity software is marketed by Perkin Elmer, visit them at www.perkinelmer.com. Our new Windows 64-bit image processing work-station running Volocity and MetaMorph is now located just outside laboratory 00/069, nearby the microscope room 00/070. Volocity Workshop

In order to demonstrate the power of Volocity, Perkin Elmer kindly offered to run a Volocity workshop at the WTCHG which took place on Wednesday 13th July 2011. There was a short series of presentations in the morning in seminar room B, followed by hands on Volocity workshops in the afternoon where users bought in their own images and booked 45 minute slots with Perkin Elmer Volocity Imaging specialists.

Perkin Elmer have indicated that are willing to stage another Volocity Workshop at the WTCHG next year, 2012. In addition the Core can provide training for those who wish to use the software.
