Sunny Wong

DPhil student

After finishing my undergraduate degree in Hong Kong, I joined the Adrian Hill group at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics as a DPhil student. I am currently researching human genetic susceptibility to common mycobacterial diseases, including tuberculosis and leprosy. I am also interested in exploring the immunological basis of their protein products, hoping to understand their role in immunity against mycobacteria and their potential as vaccine or therapeutic candidates.
