Structured Illumination Workshop

Zeiss Apotome 2
The Zeiss Apotome-2 microscope

We are hosted a half-day microscopy workshop entitled 'optical sectioning without lasers', and it included a demonstration of the latest Zeiss ApoTome-2 microscope. The system also incorporated the VivaTome for live cell imaging.

The Zeiss workshop took place on Thursday 8th December 2011, starting at 10.00 am in Seminar Room A with an initial 30 minute talk on the microscope followed by a structured demonstration. You can download the programme flyer here. If you wish to see the images acquired by the system, just ask a Core member.
