Ron Nudel
DPhil Student
I recently joined the Monaco group to study the genetics of Specific Language Impairment (SLI) and now I am also part of the Newbury group.
I am currently working on the following projects:
• A study of the genetic variation in and around candidate genes for SLI (ATP2C2, CMIP and
CNTNAP2).
• A genetic study of a language disorder in an isolated population (the "Robinson Crusoe project").
My other interests include:
Neurogenetics and Human Genetics in general, Neurolinguistics and the biology of language development.
