The full panel consists of 106 Radiation Hybrid clones but not all of these
have been used because (i) a maximum of 96 are typed conveniently in standard microtitre
format and (ii) some RH clones turned out to have retained very little rat DNA
and therefore add little/no mapping information. For these reasons
several versions of the rat panel are presented here in a text format and are
identified by the following nomenclatures "v","v1", "v3".
T55 contains entries for all 106 RHs in numerical order.
T55v1 consists of RHs 1 to 96 in numerical order.
T55v3 (RHs 2-10, 12-14, 16-19, 21-34, 36, 37, 39-50, 52, 53, 55-59, 61-89, 91-106) allows
the most informative and accurate RH mapping.
The 1000:1 framework positions in the map are identified by a number (eg 1.002-) attached to their
associated marker name.
