Postdoctoral Research Assistant – Cell Biology & Genetics, Grade 7   

 

We are looking for an outstanding and highly motivated molecular cell biologist with a PhD or equivalent, and experience in cellular genetics and image-based assays of cellular morphology and function. The appointee will use these assays to identify cellular phenotypes in knockouts or knockdowns of genes involved in cardiovascular developmental disease, and then use siRNA libraries and high content screening to identify suppressing and enhancing genetic interactors at the BHF Centre for Cardiovascular Target DiscoveryThe position is funded by the British Heart Foundation, and is available from Nov 2011.
