Sequence Analyst

 

I work for the High-throughput Sequence Analysis Group. My role centres around the downstream analysis of next generation sequence data from Roche 454 and Illumina GA platforms. I collaborate with numerous research groups both within and outside of the WTCHG to provide a wide range of analytical services. Types of project currently under way include whole-genome shotgun projects, miRNA and mRNA expression surveys, targeted and pooled re-sequencing for varient discovery and CHiP-seq experiments.
