Computing Cluster - IT core

Data generated within the Oxford Genomics Centre undergoes a rigorous quality control procedure to ensure that researchers receive the best data and to identify any issues arising.

For high-throughout sequencing data, information about a wide range of metrics is fed back to the laboratory to check data quality.  Additional checks are implemented to check for data integrity when assembled across multiple experiments and to identify outlier samples in microarray and RNA-seq experiments.

A web interface provides users with the ability to drill down into detailed QC information.  Data management tools enables one-click access to raw data and summary information.
