Mr Dong Xie

RA/Programmer

Research summary  

Being a research programmer, I have worked on various projects including LIMS, Microarray Database, Genotyping Database, and  Computerized Phenotypic data collection system (Questionnaire), etc. My programming is mainly on top of .NET framework, ASP.NET, Windows Server, and SQL Server.

I also work on the hardware side including the design and build of a large scale server/disk array for Very Large Database, or small and cheap yet high performing server brick.

I'm currently working on a project with Jonathan Flint which involves collaboration with universities and hospitals in China (CONVERGE 1 - "Study of Major Depression in Chinese women"), which brings me multiple roles to play and contribute.
