Lucas Amenga-Etego

Lucas has been a DPhil student with the group since September 2009. He is also a MalariaGEN Data Fellow. He has been working on a collaborative study (between Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and Navrongo Health Research Centre) of severe malaria in the Kassena-Nankana District in northern Ghana. His interests are in understanding genetic factors that place a person at risk of developing severe malaria.
