JoshMy current work primarily involves meta-analysis of genome-wide association studies in an effort to increase power to detect common variants that predispose to complex traits, as well as developing tools and methods to facilitate such analyses.

I have been the analyst responsible for running genome-wide association analyses on anthropometric traits (including BMI, Height, Weight, Waist Circumference, Hip Circumference, and Waist-hip ratio) for several cohorts taking part in the GIANT consortium, including the WTCCC Coronary Artery Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, and Hypertension Case Cohorts as well as the UK Blood Service Control Group, National Finnish Birth Cohort 1966, and the Procardis study.  I have also been part of the meta-analysis team for weight, waist, hip, and gender-specific analyses for the GIANT consortium.
