Jason Wendler

DPhil

Jason is a DPhil student in the Genomic Medicine and Statistics programme at Oxford.  He is also part of the Graduate Partnership Program at the US National Institutes of Health.  Jason is interested in massive datasets, and using population genomics to inform vaccine trials and candidate selection.

Jason studied microbiology for his BSc and Statistics for his MSc in the US.  He worked as a research technician and then as a Bioinformatics Programmer at Seattle BioMed for several years, and later lived for a year in Tanzania where he worked with a clinical malaria group as an NIH fellow.
