Ian Wright
Informatics team
Ian joined the group in August 2010 as a member of our informatics team. He is currently working on the Chassis data repository and the implementation of the Alfresco Content Repository for the WWARN project.
Ian was previously with Elsevier where he was a lead Architect responsible for a number of projects including amongst others OPSBANK which is the data repository/pipeline behind scopus.com and provides CAR (citation, abstract, references) information about articles, patents etc from a range of publishers, as well as attempting to identify unique author ids, for a variety of applications and customers, elsevier.com and emss.elsevier.com which is the manuscript submission system for books, particularly major reference works.
