High-Throughput Genomics

The High-Throughput (HT) Genomics group has been set up at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics to provide access, primarily for Centre groups, to cutting edge technologies in the areas of High-Throughput Sequencing, Genotyping and Gene Expression. In addition, they collaborate with other scientists from the University of Oxford and from external Universities and organisations.

The Mission of this group is to utilize cutting edge technology to help further the diverse research needs of its ever increasing customer base.

Activities

With a team of dedicated scientists providing the highest quality of service the following technology solutions are provided

With experience in each of the current applications of the technologies, the group is capable of supporting the majority of project needs and works closely with research groups, from submitting joint grant applications for the collaboration through to data generation and analysis.

The refined work flows and automation of critical steps allows HT Genomics to work on projects of any size.

With a mission to provide outstanding service a team of highly skilled Project Managers are available to guide customers through the entire lifecycle of a project from initial project scope and the generation of an agreement through to the delivery of the data and final report.

Each project manager is PhD educated and an expert in their particular field.
