Work Summary:
My work focuses on the impact of linkage disequilibrium on genome-wide association signals. In particular, I am interested in how disease models, effect sizes, and interactions are distorted as one moves from a causal variant to a tag on a genotyping chip.
Publications:
"Effect size underestimation explains some of the missing heritability in common diseases", with Chris Spencer, Damjan Vukcevic, and Peter Donnelly, submitted
