Work Summary:

The aim of my PhD was to develop methodological tools to study the genetic component of multifactorial diseases in large pedigrees from isolated populations, these analyses being performed with high density SNP maps.

I am now involved in the Wellcome Trust Case-Control Consortium 2 (WTCCC2), and work on the population structure issue in the context of genome-wide association studies.
