Biological Imaging at BMRU

Our facility hosts both an MRI and micro-CT scanner. The MRI allows imaging of both in-vivo and ex-vivo samples, typically up to a diameter of 70 mm. The μCT allows imaging of ex-vivo samples, typically at higher resolutions than MRI.

MRI scan charges are £300 per hour during daytime, overnight scans / weekends are charged at £300 per night / per day, respectively.

Note that in vivo and ex-vivo anatomical imaging is available for any organ / tissue type, and not restricted to the cardiovascular system.
