Dr Anuj Goel
Post Doctoral Research Fellow
Research Summary
My research interests are focused in using existing tools to do genome wide association analysis, devise ways to handle large datasets, build databases and make the results easily accessible to our collaborators. I am currently involved in next generation exome sequencing data analysis to discover susceptibility genes for cardiovascular disease. I am also involved in a number of meta analyses with different groups to find novel genes for blood pressure, and other phenotypes like blood glucose, HbA1c and insulin levels. Other areas of interest include analysis of microarray expression and programming.
