Angeliki Kerasidou

Ethics team
Angeliki Kerasidou works both in the Kwiatkowski Group and the at the EtHOX Centre. Within the Kwiatkowski Group she is the Ethics Co-ordinator for MalariaGEN. Her role is to monitor, manage and respond to ethical and policy issues for the various Projects, to conduct empirical research, inform policy development and provide training and capacity building in ethical issues related to project goals. Angeliki is a bioethicist and theologian. She has studied theology, philosophy and ethics in Greece, Germany and the UK and she gained her DPhil in Bioethics at the University of Oxford in 2009. She is also member of the Society Religion and Technology Project committee, Church of Scotland. Her research so far has focused on theories of philosophical and theological anthropology, cloning, stem cell research, assisted reproduction, synthetic biology, and on the moral value of human life.
