Angeliki Kerasidou works both in the Kwiatkowski Group and the at the EtHOX Centre. Within the Kwiatkowski Group she is the Ethics Co-ordinator for MalariaGEN. Her role is to monitor, manage and respond to ethical and policy issues for the various Projects, to conduct empirical research, inform policy development and provide training and capacity building in ethical issues related to project goals. Angeliki is a bioethicist and theologian. She has studied theology, philosophy and ethics in Greece, Germany and the UK and she gained her DPhil in Bioethics at the University of Oxford in 2009. Her current research interests include the ethics of genomic research in developing countries, global health ethics, ethical issues of austerity and commercialisation in health care, and research professionalism.
