Getting involved in the GO-CHD study

In order to be eligible to take part in the study, you will also need to have been seen at one of the participating heart centres in the UK.

This is because our research is carefully monitored by each hospital NHS trust and an overseeing ethics committee. We have set up arrangements with the heart centres in Bristol, Oxford, London (Royal Brompton and Harefield, Guys, King’s and Thomas’s and Great Ormond Street Hospitals), Liverpool and Birmingham. Other collaborating researchers have set up arrangements at Leicester (contact Dr Frances Bu’lock: frances.bulock@uhl-tr.nhs.uk) and Newcastle (contact Professor Bernard Keavney: b.d.keavney@ncl.ac.uk).
