A letter to the Editor of the American Journal of Human Genetics has recently been published (Authors Martin Farrall and Dan Weeks 62(5):1260-1262). We are grateful to Dr. Howard Cann for his vigilance, in pointing out that we omitted to include family 1331 in the list of CEPH families described in the text that were used to compile the genotypes (although these genotypes were correctly included in the analysis).
